Raising kids is hard work!  Sometimes you wish you had someone to cheer you on or to give you ideas about how to teach your kids about…(insert your latest parenting challenge here).  That’s why JFM has a ministry for families.
From the time a child is added to our family, we want the best for them.  Our nursery staff loves nothing more than to see that our youngest children receive tender, loving care.  We know it can be hard to leave your most precious gift with people you’ve never met before, so we’ll work with you to make sure you feel comfortable leaving your little one with us.  Our nursery is available during all of our worship services.
Curious toddlers and preschoolers  love Who Knew Zoo, where we’re  always discovering new things about God and the world He’s made for us to enjoy!  Using lots of hands on activities, music and stories, children learn things they never knew about what it means to be a child of God.  Who Knew Zoo programs for 1 year olds up through Pre-K 5yr olds are available at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00, Sunday mornings.
Our school aged kids hear amazing stories from the Bible that help them learn a monthly virtue in J-Town every Sunday morning at 8:30 and 11:00..  Music, drama and lots of hands on activities help our kids learn timeless truths from the Bible and have fun at the same time.

Looking for something fun and free to do together with your preschooler?  

Hearts in Motion is an interactive class for preschool kids, (accompanied by a  grown-up) on the 2nd and 4th Thursday mornings during the school year.  You’ll hear great stories, do finger plays, make crafts, sing songs and wiggle out some energy with lots of jumpin’ around to fun music!   Hearts in Motion is currently on hiatus, but will begin again on Thursday, Sept. 28 @ 9:30am.  We’d love to have you join us!!

 

At JFM, we believe that what happens at home is more important to a child’s spiritual life than what happens at church.  That means the grownups of the family have a big job!  But we don’t want families to feel like they have to figure out the “God-Stuff” all by themselves.  O-Zone is a shared experience for the family, where kids bring their parents to learn!

During O-Zone, kids and parents will enjoy a high energy, virtue driven experience.  It uses music, dancing, drama, comedy, video and Biblical truths to create a fun and memorable event for the whole family.

The experience is designed for elementary aged children and their parents, but preschoolers are welcome too, as long as they stay with the

grown-ups in the family.
